This position is essential to the operations of this fast growing family owned technical company. An engineering sales estimator is a professional who estimates the cost of engineering projects (508 electrical panels ) and provides sales support. They work with clients to determine their needs and provide them with accurate cost estimates for their projects. The job requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and excellent communication skills. The person in this role will be taking inbound calls daily and working with an existing client base. The ideal candidate will be technically apt and eager to learn and grow with the company. Job Duties:

• Field inbound calls to assist with part orders, and troubleshooting
• Input and process orders
• Become an expert in the company’s products and apply that knowledge to assist with customer questions
• This person will also work with the engineering team to provide support to projects in the field
• Manage confidential and proprietary client information
• Maintain accurate records
• Follow up on client orders to ensure parts were delivered and solved any issues
• Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on most recent process changes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or applicable experience
• Inside technical sales experience
• Technical aptitude or passion for engineering or electrical systems
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to take complex components and describe them in layman terms
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to learn skills quickly and apply them to client troubleshooting
• Drive to grow a career and help a small team
• Quick and creative thinking capabilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
