Duties/Responsibilities:

• Implement preventative maintenance program for site based heavy duty construction and paving equipment and haulage trucks.

• Ensure that equipment and machinery in good working order and defects noted to the Equipment Manager.

• Prepare a list for maintenance and spare parts as required.

• Responsible for stock control of equipment spares, consumables, etc.

• Maintain and secure work tools.

• Cleaning and maintenance of work area and stores

• Ensure that equipment maintenance and repairs work are carried out in a safe manner.

• Replaces or repairs interior parts as needed.

• Welds and otherwise attaches or fits parts into place.

• Attempts to complete work orders within labor time guidelines.

• Ensures all work has been executed correctly by inspecting vehicles after repair.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.
