Job Title: Treatment Court Case Manager
Hours: Regular Part-Time/24 hours per week; Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $21.22/hour; plus, longevity, if applicable
Department: Lafayette County Circuit Court
Reports to: Lafayette County Treatment Court Coordinator
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Position Purpose: Performs case management services to Lafayette County Treatment
Court participants.
This position is grant funded and funding has been secured through December 31, 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Screen potential clients for Treatment Court
Collaborate with clients to write and review case plans
Attend weekly Treatment Court staff meetings
Provide case updates and recommendations to the Treatment Team
Complete all required paperwork within required time frames
Document data outcomes as requested
Demonstrate problem solving and judgment skills as well as a high level of attention to detail
and accuracy
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Conduct self in a manner consistent with the Lafayette County Code of Ethics
Provide outreach, aftercare, follow-up, and community liaison where appropriate
Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth,
especially identified program performance skills
Create policy and procedure related to program area
Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degrees required in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or other similar
area of education and or mix of experience.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Must possess valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Physical Demands:
Requires functional vision and hearing
Requires ability to sit for long periods of time
Must be able to function in an office setting with background noise and distractions
Requires clear verbal communication
Mental Demands:
Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people to create a positive
work environment; may be called upon to handle difficult situations
Must be able to deal with a variety of emotions and frustrations; emotional stability and maturity
are important attributes in this position
Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflicts, and make effective decisions under
pressure
Must be able to gain new skills and knowledge necessary for performance of essential job
functions
Must be able to give, receive, and analyze information
Must be able to effectively communicate, providing verbal feedback and written documentation
in a professional manner
