Welcome to Ladybug Kids Dental! We are a brand new state-of-the-art children’s dental office in Norwalk seeking a part-time dental assistant with experience taking X-rays on children for 2-3 Saturdays per month. Possible to add more days in the future if interested.

Schedule is 7:50am-2pm.

We are hoping to find and keep staff members who work well as a team and become like family. For the right applicant, we would like to build a long-term relationship, with mentorship, training, and career advancement within the company.

Requirements/Duties:

• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Chart for the doctor during examination and explain treatment to parents/patients.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and complete electronic patient notes.
• Safely remove instruments and wipe down treatment rooms, run suction cleaner to clean the lines.
• Sterilize and bag instruments.
• Escort patients to exam and treatment rooms, showing care and confidence to help relieve patient’s anxiety and make parents feel comfortable.
• Check patient’s medical history
• Bilingual (Spanish, English)

Additional Duties (Preferred but not required)

• Set up treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring that treatment rooms are always stocked.
• Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures including pulpotomy, SSC, fillings, extractions and space maintainers.
• We use Dentrix Ascend
