Location: USDA National Center for Animal Health (NCAH), 1920 Dayton Ave., Ames, IA 50010
Requirements:
- Previous experience in electrical repair and maintenance, specifically with UPS systems, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with NCAH personnel
- Replace transformer board for UPS-6 in Building 20, Room BM43A.
- Conduct necessary tests and recertify UPS function.
- Implement LOTO process to control energy sources.
- Coordinate LOTO programs with NCAH FEU personnel
- Provide documentation to support completed work
