Be a Technology Leader at Lactalis! In this position you will play a key role in providing overall technology leadership for the enterprise applications used by the Supply Chain functions of the Lactalis US Businesses. You will need to have both strategic and tactical capabilities, excellence in business processes, and a deep understanding of SAP solutions as well as other enterprise applications. 

The Senior Manager, SAP Supply Chain Applications is responsible for leading a team to manage the successful build and run activities for the related workstreams. Through partnership with IT and the relevant business teams, the SAP Supply Chain Applications Team is accountable for providing ongoing process and application support and identifying way to improve performance for sales and distribution, procurement, materials management and warehousing.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Execute an Enterprise Application Strategy within the defined workstreams that is aligned with business objectives
• Manage the successful build and run activities, within the defined workstream, for a US SAP S/4 solution across multiple business units
• Provide insights and guidance on supporting and deploying related SAP applications and bolt-on solutions
• Ensure effective consultation with the various business partners (internal & external) in exploring and applying innovative solution ideas to address business opportunities and challenges
• Oversee application enhancement requests with the business teams while managing the resource allocation according to priorities
• Lead pilots and proof of concept sessions for potential solutions to elicit requirements with a strong focus on business capability maturity to drive prioritization discussions
• Define and maintain business requirement documentation standards to ensure sufficient detail and clarity, collaborating with business partners to ensure that these are captured correctly with clear and complete understanding of process and technology implications
• Lead a team of 4 SAP analysts
• Lead and manage business case development and ROI presentations
• Be a key liaison between IT and the business teams to plan and execute high value-based projects
• Manage technical standards and SAP Template standards in accordance with the SAP Governance committee policies
• Travel may be required for on-site support at Lactalis facilities

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business or other related academic discipline
• 12 years experience in a large-scale, enterprise environment
• 10 years experience in providing Supply Chain solutions, preferably within an SAP environment utilizing a CoE support model
• 5 years experience as a manager of people
• Experience in the Food Industry and/or Consumer Products preferred
• Strong background in ERP concepts and functionality in an SAP S/4 HANA environment, including master data management, procurement, order to cash and warehousing
• Experience with Demand & Supply applications is preferred, e.g., FuturMaster
• Experience with external Warehousing applications is preferred, e.g., Infolog
• Experience with Trade Promotion Management application is preferred, e.g., Vistex
• Experience with Transportation Management is preferred, e.g., Ortec
• Experience working with related Business Unit stakeholders to refine and consolidate a shared service application support and development team to meet business needs
• Experience and knowledge of end-to-end IT software development lifecycle from idea conception through planning, requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, support and transition into operations teams
• Experience with the alignment to a global model and management of localizations
• Strong analytical, time-management and facilitation skills
• Independent, self-motivated, self-managing, proactive and responsive with a bias for action and results
• High level of personal integrity consistent with the client’s core values
• Proficiency in support ticket and project management applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
