Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction management.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations
- Review and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
- Maintain accurate records of project activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction management processes and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Knowledge of quality control standards and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
