Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory procedures and tests, such as blood sampling and phlebotomy, in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring they are properly cleaned and calibrated.
- Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
- Assist with data entry and record keeping of test results.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform blood sampling and phlebotomy techniques accurately and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
