Labster is on a journey to revolutionize the way students learn globally! Labster’s Sales team is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling Labster and UbiSim products to the Higher Education market. This role demands a high-performing individual with a proven track record in consultative sales, a deep understanding of the higher education landscape, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Labster and UbiSim products within the Higher Education sector.
Meet and exceed sales quota and all activity goals as set by the leadership team
Manage the sales cycle from start to finish; generate pipeline with new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, and networking to close multi-year SaaS-based deals
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Conduct in-depth research on higher education institutions to tailor sales approaches effectively.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in higher education institutions.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer success, BDRs, and more) to ensure a coordinated, strategic, and customer-centric approach.
Develop a deep understanding of Labster and UbiSim products, their features and differentiators, and how they align with the needs of higher education institutions.
Competencies & Skills
7 years’ experience in a sales role, ideally in EdTech or Healthcare SaaS
Experience in high volume sales with an average deal size of approximately $15,000
Proven record of achieving or exceeding quota through a high level of effective sales activities, with focus on outbound activity, sales demonstrations, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting.
Experience utilizing a sales methodology to hit and exceed quota. We use MEDDPICC at Labster.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, allocate and track time across a large set of targets.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills).
Tech-savvy with high proficiency in using CRMs (Salesforce.com), Outreach.io, Google Suite, PowerPoint, and other tools as needed.
