We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments and collections. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Description:

Accounting Associate specializing in QuickBooks, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks including but not limited to:

Data Entry in QuickBooks:

Accurately inputting receivables data into QuickBooks system.

Ensuring timely and precise recording of financial transactions.

Reconciliation of Patient Payments:

Manage and conduct regular reconciliation of patient payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal regulations.

Identifying discrepancies and resolving payment discrepancies in a timely manner.

Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.

Record and categorize financial transactions, maintaining detailed and organized records.

Collaborate with the practice manager to ensure proper accounting treatment for patient matters.

Generate financial reports and statements for review by management and external parties.

Assist in audits and examinations related to trust accounting practices.

Stay informed about changes in trust accounting laws and regulations.

Ad Hoc Reporting:

Generating ad hoc reports as requested by management or other departments.

Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making processes.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proficiency in QuickBooks software with hands-on experience in data entry and reconciliation.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful insights.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Prior experience in a similar role or industry is preferred but not required.
