Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our team. As a Brick Mason, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of brick, stone, and other masonry materials. Your expertise in blueprint reading, stucco application, and concrete finishing will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects. Duties: - Build and repair walls, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures using bricks, stones, and concrete blocks - Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or specifications - Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the work area using hand tools - Cut or shape bricks or stones to fit specific spaces using hammers or chisels - Apply stucco or other finishes to completed structures - Install firebrick linings in industrial furnaces - Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones - Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion Requirements: - Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role - Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings - Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials - Familiarity with hardscape design and installation - Ability to use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels - Excellent attention to detail and precision in bricklaying - Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials - Valid driver's license preferred Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience and skill level - Opportunities for career advancement within the company - Ongoing training and professional development programs If you have the skills and experience required for this position, we encourage you to apply.
