Labor Solutions is Hiring a Scale House Operator Near Arcadia, FL
Classification: Temp
Location: Arcadia, FL
SUMMARY: This position will efficiently and accurately process shipments inbound and outbound. Enter orders into the computer system, prepare manifests and all paperwork for a proper shipment. Provide exceptional customer service to drivers and customers, both internal and external.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Input Bill of Lading.
- Apply Seal (s) to drum containers and tankers, give placards to hazardous material loads, along with SDS sheets when needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Communicate with customers and truck drivers.
- Maintain housekeeping and general maintenance of scale house area.
- Keep supervisor up to date on shipments.
- Ability to speak and read English to communicate with others. Bilingual a plus.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- High level of attentiveness and detail orientated in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work long hours and multiple shifts.
- Basic Mathematical skills required.
