Landscaper/ Irrigation Installer
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team and contribute to the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of irrigation principles, possess hands-on experience with installation techniques, and demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing irrigation systems. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems according to project specifications and industry standards.
2. Collaborate with project managers and landscape designers to plan irrigation layouts that optimize water distribution and efficiency.
3. Excavate trenches and lay pipes, ensuring proper alignment and slope for efficient water flow.
4. Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental guidelines related to water usage and irrigation practices.
5. Maintain organized records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
**Requirements:**
1. Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role, landscaping, yardwork, etc.
2. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand irrigation system designs and specifications.
3. Strong knowledge of irrigation principles, including water conservation techniques and efficient water distribution methods.
4. Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment used in irrigation installation and repair.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues effectively.
6. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and terrain types.
7. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and vendors.
8. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
9. Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Certified Irrigation Technician) preferred.
