Job Title: Event Setup Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Event Setup Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring that all elements are arranged according to client specifications and company standards. This role requires physical stamina, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event furniture, equipment, and decor.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other event items according to floor plans and design layouts.
• Hang banners, signage, and decorations as instructed by event planners or clients.
• Set up audiovisual equipment, lighting, and sound systems as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and other event staff to ensure timely and efficient setup.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of event spaces throughout the setup process.
• Communicate any issues or concerns to the Event Manager or Lead Setup Assistant.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries during setup activities.
• Assist with loading and unloading event materials, supplies, and equipment as required.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests during setup and breakdown phases.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in event management is a plus.
• Previous experience in event setup, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction.
