Job Title: Marketing Operations and Events Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing Operations and Events Manager to join our Industrial Staffing firm's Marketing Department. This hybrid role combines strategic marketing operations and data management with a focus on elevating our presence through trade shows and event marketing. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), this role will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Channel / Traditional Marketing Manager, playing a pivotal role in driving overall marketing success.

Responsibilities:

  1. CRM and Marketing Database Management:
    • Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's CRM system, as well as other marketing technology platforms (e.g. outbound email platform)
    • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness within the CRM database.
    • Develop and maintain the marketing database, aligning it with organizational objectives.
  2. Campaign Optimization:
    • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to optimize marketing campaigns through data-driven insights.
    • Utilize analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
  3. Trade Shows and Events:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for trade shows and events, aligning with overall business goals.
    • Manage end-to-end logistics for trade shows, ensuring a seamless and impactful presence.
    • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to enhance event experiences.
  4. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate regular reports on key marketing metrics and event performance, providing insights and recommendations.
    • Conduct thorough analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Foster strong collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager, Sales teams, and other departments to align marketing efforts and event strategies.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather requirements for successful execution of marketing initiatives and events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in marketing operations management. (Experience within the staffing industry is a plus, but not a requirement.)
  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and data management. (Experience with Sharpspring AKA Constant Contact CRM platform is a plus, but not a requirement.)
  • Experience in planning and executing successful trade shows and events.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on leveraging data for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
