Job Brief

We are actively looking for a skilled LIMS Applications Engineer. The ideal candidate will have exposure within a laboratory environment. You will have the ability to facilitate great communications and working relationships between clients & coworkers, and to help new laboratory customers learn how to navigate and utilize our products. Your role then continues the conversation with existing clients to help add features to their current product.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tasks, schedules, client communications and project needs as requested
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

• Provide solutions and manage expectations of clients whilst dealing with evolving scopes of work

• Communicate with both technical & nontechnical stakeholders to explain vision, roadmap, and capabilities of our highly customizable products and services

• Collaborate with internal software engineering team to enhance current product features, and assist in developing new features to fit client needs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously that are in different stages of development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Physics, Engineering, CS, or a related field
• Experience working within a laboratory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organizational and time-management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution oriented
• The ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner to meet organizational goals
• Experience with a LIMS or LIS product
