Job Opportunity
We have an exciting new career opportunity in our brand new, state of the art Latham, NY office!! LaBella is currently seeking a full-time Project Manager/Project Engineer for our Latham, NY office’s Municipal Group.

The Municipal Group executes projects for local municipalities, the NYS Office of General Services and the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation providing design services on a wide variety of projects. Clients for the Municipal Group are focused on sustainability and our rewarding work directly benefits local communities and their citizens. Typical projects include water distribution, storage and treatment; sanitary sewer collection, pumping and treatment; road, drainage and street scape; site design for new buildings or site redevelopment; grant writing and administration; and site plan application review.

The successful candidate would direct project execution from conceptual design to completion. The individual would interface with clients under the supervision of the client manager. Planning Board representation is a potential role for an experienced individual.

Responsibilities

• Project development, client interaction, project management and technical design.
• Project management responsibilities include development of professional services proposals, management of projects and clients and development of technical approaches to projects. Managing the project design requires interacting with less experienced staff and providing training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 6 to 10-years of practical experience in a professional consulting environment.
• Candidate must be experienced in civil/environmental engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) NY is required.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and colleagues.
• Experience in project management.
