JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Food and Beverage (F & B) Manager is responsible for assisting with the food and beverage operation of the resort. This manager will be responsible for ensuring that all the food and drinks are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

• Complying with food and safety regulations
• Handling customer and staff complaints in a courteous, swift and thoughtful manner
• Assessing the volume of the business and ensuring that the department is always adequately staffed
• Maintaining effective communication with the bar, kitchen, and all other departments to ensure that the quality of service offered meets and exceeds The Springs Resort standards
• Ability to step in when need to assist entire food and beverage outlet

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in Food and Beverage capacity or a related field required
• College course work in related field is helpful

Physical requirements:

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be okay with working inside and outside in various temperatures.
• Light work - lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
