La Petite Academy of Verona is hiring teachers with flexible schedules!

We have a position that will ensure work life balance! Choose from one of our three offerings:

  • 24 hours or less per week – Just looking to work two or three days a week or maybe a few hours a day? We can do that!
  • 24-31 hours per week – Would short shifts fit your lifestyle? Let’s talk!
  • 32-40 hours per week– Need a full-time position with benefits? These employees earn benefits, including IMMEDIATE health insurance on day one, paid time off, and paid holidays! Pay for Lead qualified Teachers is up to $17 per hour!

As a Teacher, you’ll:

  • Create fun, interactive learning experiences while serving as a mentor to fellow Teachers.
  • Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
  • Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure a safe environment for every child.
  • Communicate and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
  • CDA or minimum of 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or related field required for Lead positions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and additional center requirements.
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation ($14-19) based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
  • Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees
  • Limited medical offered for part-time workers
  • Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
