Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of sanitation operations within the tortilla production facility.
• Develop and implement sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Train and supervise sanitation team members, providing guidance on proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
• Conduct regular inspections of production areas, equipment, and facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout the manufacturing process.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Investigate and address sanitation-related issues or concerns, taking corrective actions as needed to prevent contamination or product quality issues.
• Maintain documentation and records related to sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules, inspection reports, and sanitation logs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sanitation or janitorial management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of sanitation best practices, including cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and sanitation equipment operation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and supervise sanitation team members.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards, such as HACCP and FDA guidelines
