LMRV has grown over the years to become one of the largest multi-location RV dealerships in the world and is recognized as a leader in the industry.

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer that is highly collaborative, helps create a cohesive brand presence, and helps develop processes to streamline front-end design and development workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design, enjoys iterating on new ideas, and can help concept and execute ideas that improve our audiences’ overall customer experience. Working 4 with a team of marketers and developers, the right UI/UX Designer will bring a mix of design acumen, branding and marketing expertise, and practical business knowledge to help refine the user experience of La Mesa’s customer facing websites and applications.

MUST LIVE IN THE PHOENIX AREA 

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Help drive the overall visual design and usability of La Mesa’s websites and applications.
  • Review requirements with Business Analysts and Technical Lead for technical feasibility.
  • Design, test, and iterate based on collected data and user interaction observations.
  • Examine and analyze current user(s) flow and process, pain points, and desires from a usability and visual standpoint to deliver solutions.
  • Help analyze market trends, our audience needs, and the competitive landscape to ensure our creative resonates with the right audiences at the right point in their customer journey
  • Work with a cross-functional team to design and build new components for our websites and applications.
  • Prioritize work and resources across projects, based on short- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with development team and marketing team members.
  • Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into user-friendly and compelling digital experiences.
  • Provide design direction and feedback on display ads created by our marketing team.
  • Create sketches, wireframes, and mockups of user interface screens according to the business requirements.
  • Create high-fidelity functioning prototypes when applicable/feasible.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience designing user experiences for a variety of platforms.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (Adobe Xd, Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.)
  • Experience with results-driven design techniques such as a/b testing.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices (ADA).
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns with user experiences that supplement the corresponding campaign.
  • Strong design vision with an understanding of business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to help research and resolve Business Needs.
  • Experience with CSS and CSS frameworks, ideally experience with Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience developing a component-based UI design system; ideally using a tool such as Knapsack or Storybook.
  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional user interface design experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or business; or a proven track record of solving user experience challenges.
  • Experience using project management tools such as ClickUp.com, Monday.com, etc.
  • Experience with versioning workflows, ideally Git and Github.
  • Experience with team-based communication tools such as Slack.
  • Understanding and experience creating integrated content across marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print.
