Experienced, certified Medical Assistant wanted for a busy, private family medicine practice in La Jolla. Should have minimum 2 years back office clinical experience.

Excellent primary care clinical skills: venipuncture, EKG, vaccination, ear lavage, vaccinations, laboratory services, professional phone communication and clerical skills.

Knowledge of how insurance HMO, PPO and how to do referrals and prior authorizations.

Experience with and proficiency in use of Electronic Medical Records. We use EPIC.

Good computer skills, fast learner, detail-oriented, patient focused, reliable, able to work independently.
