Job Title: Host/Hostess

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Description:

Elevate the guest experience at La Fonda Del Sol, a modern Mexican restaurant merging tradition with contemporary flair. We are currently seeking engaging and welcoming individuals to join us as Hosts/Hostesses. As the first point of contact, you will play a pivotal role in setting the tone for our guests' dining experience.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm

- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart

- Ensure timely and efficient seating of guests, balancing server workload

- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests

- Provide accurate information about the menu and restaurant offerings

- Collaborate with servers and bussers to ensure smooth guest transitions

- Monitor the waiting area, keeping it clean and organized

- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is a plus

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Knowledge of reservation systems is advantageous

- Enthusiastic and welcoming demeanor
