Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a key role within our organization, as you will play a crucial part in maintaining employee satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages.

Responsibilities:
- Process semi monthly payroll for the domestic US
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy
- Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime payments
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate employee data in the HRIS system
- Assist with general ledger accounting related to payroll

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Proficiency in using payroll software systems such as Ceridian, Paychex, or Kronos
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and identify errors or discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees regarding payroll inquiries
