LA Custom Blinds is Hiring a Design Consultant Near Irvine, CA
LA Custom Blinds has an opportunity for an experienced, energetic, and talented Design and Sales Consultant.
The ideal candidate would have an entrepreneurial attitude and approach to selling with strong communication, organizational and influence skills. Demonstrated passion for in-home design consulting including the ability to communicate with clients to assess what they want and need, and then present ideas and design solutions in a compelling way.
A broad knowledge of current home décor and style along with effective sales techniques is required. We are looking for an individual that has proven sales success working in-home sales coupled with a strong sense of style, home décor, and a passion for closing the deal.
Essential Needs:
Artistic and creative abilities in the area of home decor
Experience measuring blinds and drapery
Knowledge of window treatments product lines
Knowledge of design principles
Ability to visualize a finished project and convey the outcome to the client
Ability to provide exceptional design services within a client's defined budget
As a Design Consultant, you will receive qualified leads from our marketing efforts. These leads will allow you to utilize your design and sales expertise during the consultation.
Compensation:
Generous commission and special promotional incentives (spiffs)
Mileage reimbursement for travel to customers homes
Must have reliable transportation to travel between client homes and home office
Sales Technique and Experience
Must be self-motivated, and goal oriented with a drive for success
Must possess strong sales skills including understanding and managing the sales process, from prospecting to closing and after-sale follow-up
Must demonstrate a passion for in-home sales and understanding of the concepts of selling for premium products within a fast-paced yet professional environment
Proven ability to build a strong client base to generate additional leads resulting in increased company sales and profit
Leaves positive and lasting impressions with continued follow up after the installation is complete
Possesses strong organizational skills to complete client orders, following up on leads, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $86,918.80 - $150,590.39 per year
