The Preventative Maintenance Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive preventative maintenance program across all facility assets. This role is critical in minimizing equipment downtime, optimizing asset life cycles, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of improving maintenance operations through effective preventative program management. This role reports to the Director of Business Transformation
Location: On-site- Muskegon, MI
Key Responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and MRO management.
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
• Proven track record of improving maintenance operations and achieving significant cost savings.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
Travel Requirement:
• Travel up to 15% of time.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and moving around the warehouse for long periods.
• Capability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., cold, heat, dust).
Work Environment:
• This role typically works in a warehouse facility and outdoors as required, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
