Who we are: La Clínica de La Raza is a community-based health center committed to providing culturally appropriate, high-quality, and accessible health care to the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area.
As part of a significant component of their clinical training, the UCSF Pediatric Dentistry residents treat patients at the La Clinica De La Raza/CHO community clinic.
The attending faculty will supervise and oversee these post-doctoral resident trainees.
Faculty will provide direct supervision and mentoring in all phases of pediatric dentistry training which include treatment planning, restorative procedures, and nitrous oxide analgesia.
The volunteer faculty member will also be involved with the bi-annual resident evaluation, quality assurance process, resident outcome assessments process, and is required to complete all evaluations required by the Program Director.
