L3Harris' Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Specilaist Test Electrical Engineer to join our ICT Test Engineering team. This position will be based at our Rochester facility.
Position Overview:
- This person will contribute to the company's success by conducting evaluations of designs for testability; utilizing working knowledge of the fundamentals of In-Circuit Test (ICT), functional board level testing,unit testing and system level testing.
- This role will report directly to Senior Manager of the Operation Test Engineering team and is responsible for the success of engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systems
Essential Responsibilities:
- Create test strategies and specifications for new and revised assemblies
- Prepare test and diagnostic software, design test fixtures, complete test procedures for new and existing products
- Develop, debug, optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
- Create/Update test station documentation items such as MTP's, Station BOM's, AMR's, and TSW's.
- Experience in digital, analog, and RF circuitry design/troubleshoot
- Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters
- Experience with automation systems including electronic test
- Instruct technicians in the completion of test requirements as described above
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
