Description: Job Title: Director of Program Management - Micro-Electronics Business Lead Job Code: SAS20231801-95856 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Description: Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion. Drive program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Expand the product line with the customer. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications. Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. Essential Functions: • Ensure programs are executing within compliance with specifications, performance requirements, schedules, cost commitments and internal policies and procedures
• Manage a highly experienced team and will be responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans
• Responsible for establishing the direction for new processes, systems, solutions, and products using significant conceptualization, reasoning, and interpretation
• Extensively analyze implications of both near and long-term solution
• Own and develop tactical and operational plans and goals for a business area
• Recommend and implement strategies and develops operational plans/goals that directly impact the mid- to long-term function or business area achievements Qualifications: • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience; Or, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
• Requires advanced management, business knowledge, leadership capabilities and broad experience across multiple related professional disciplines Preferred Additional Skills: • Engineering degree
• Full program life cycle execution experience
