A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EXPERIENCED DISPATCH MANAGER

As a Dispatch Manager, you will work closely with dealership Leadership to gather necessary information for any transport needs. You will execute logistics of the various transports and assign drivers to each scheduled transportation request. You will ensure that you provide an Airstream Brand experience in every interaction with Team Members and Guests. Communication is key in this role, and you provide timely, relevant, and accurate information in all transactions. You will provide oversight and leadership to a team of drivers, and you will assist in all aspects of hiring and training. You will ensure that Safety is a priority each and every day. You will be responsible for accurate invoicing for dealerships with every trip. You are able juggle multiple tasks, remain organized and effectively prioritize all while providing a Brand experience. You find your job engaging and get great satisfaction out of helping our guests fulfill their dreams of creating memories in an Airstream!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DISPATCH MANAGER

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience in dispatching and transporting of large goods/vehicles.
• 3-5 years’ experience in oversight and supervision of Drivers (hiring, terminating, managing performance).
• 1-2 years’ experience in billing/invoicing for services.
• Previous experience working and coordinating with multiple locations or sites.
• Experience in scheduling and setting appointments.
• Previous experience handling Safety related issues and understanding of road safety and laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, excel, word, power point and other programs.
• Previous experience in handling and investigation of Safety related incidents.
• Must have clean driving record, current driver’s license and be insurable through company insurance policy.
• Strong knowledge of driving and road laws.

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence necessary for select roles. The expected pay for this position is $60,000 Salary.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
