L&S Mechanical began as a Dallas-based contractor in 1985 and has grown over the years to have five locations out of Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. In the last 10 years, we have added HVAC and electrical services to now offer the Tri-Trade Solution℠. We pride ourselves on having some of the most highly trained technicians in the industry. • Interpret customer needs and create detailed plans for plumbing systems using CAD software
• Analyze customer needs and determine the best course of action for the design
• Create and modify drawings using CAD software
• Utilize CAD software to produce technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
• Develop and maintain an accurate record of changes made to drawings
• Maintain a library of standard drawings
• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with relevant codes and regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other CAD designers regularly
• Actively participate in regular meetings to discuss project progress
• Provide technical support and advice to other team members
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CAD software

• 1-year plumbing field experience preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of and experience with CAD design
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
