Production Support Technician - 1st & 2nd shift 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate material handling equipment as necessary including overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Inspect metal parts and sensitive electrical components for cleanliness and defects such as dents and cracks. prior to assembly.
• Prepare work to be performed by following assembly instructions, manufacturing order and parts list. 
• Install bearings on shaft assemblies and into housings
• Prepare lead and cable assemblies
• Prepare various insulation for stator winding
• Produce Coils for stator winding
• Process completed electrical windings through a resin treatment process
• Clean resin from stators
• Install windings into cast stator housings
• Stocking shelves and bins with required inventory
• Preparing finished products for shipping
• Assist with loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing freight trucks
• Clean equipment and work area as required to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning when required.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned by your supervisor.
• Complete all required job documentation and work logs accurately and in a timely manner.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Able to bend, squat, pull, push, climb, etc.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
• Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude or assembly experience preferred.
• Must be organized and possess time management skills and skills to adapt to priority changes.
•  Must be able to work in a supportive team environment that is fast paced with a strong commitment to accountability.
• Must be able to follow and communicate both written and verbal information clearly in English with minimal supervision.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.
• Forklift experience.

Location: This job will start out with training at our Appleton facility - but will eventually be moving to our Hortonville facility.
