Job Title: Director, Media Division: SalonCentric Department: Digital Marketing Supervisor Title : VP - Digital Marketing Location: 10101 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N, St Petersburg, FL The Director of Media for SalonCentric will lead the strategy development, activation and launch of all media channels including paid social, programmatic, trade partners, and search (SEO/SEM), etc. The candidate will direct all media campaigns and will act as the hub between cross functional teams, including eComm, Data Driven Experiences, CRM, social engagement (owned), influencer (earned), content, marketing, digital product, agencies of record, and Corporate COEs. This leader must thrive in driving strategy and be willing to dive deep in the details achieving excellence in activation for this newly dedicated team. The ideal candidate possesses an understanding of media analytics (media mix models, search, social and/or programmatic expertise preferred) and the ability to synthesize and communicate information to different levels of stakeholders across the organization. Lastly, this individual will also work side by side with CRM, owned media and advocacy & influence business leads to drive comprehensive 360 strategies, and spearhead the collection of industry trends, key competitive analyses, and insights. The director will report into the VP of Digital Marketing and manages a team of 2 . Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy, planning, implementation, execution and reporting of media campaigns across paid media channels and across the full funnel
Manage agency relationships to help deliver annual media marketing plan with channel mix recommendation and quarterly tactical campaigns
Collaborate with data and CRM partners to leverage 1P data for orchestrated digital journeys as well as media only campaigns
Form strategic partnerships with trade publishers and other media partners
Lead the formulation and roll out of the SalonCentric's learning agenda, and support brand partner's learning agendas in a consultative nature
Oversee monthly reporting on all media campaigns
Work closely with agency and internal teams to share out on regular competitive reporting
Coordinate closely with COEs measurement lead to roll out annual MMM study, including briefing with cross functional teams to understand business questions, and to report annually on media's contribution to incremental sales
Lead Overall Budget Management and Pay to Play program development
Oversee budgets across tactics and work closely with agency and internal teams to manage monthly pacing and RAF flighting
Work closely with finance and brand controllers to manage media spend
Liaise closely with leadership on approving monthly roll up of budgets
What We are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree
6-8 years of relevant industry experience
Brand, retailer, or digital agency experience a plus
Beauty industry experience a plus
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
Self-motivated, results and solution oriented, strategic thinker
Highly organized, with strong time management and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently, be proactive, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
