Job Summary: Assemble & Test R&D equipment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Build and test various types of heat exchangers and test fixtures
• Build, assemble & test prototype and production machinery.
• Observe, guide and assist with training.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
• Perform work in a safe manner & follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Domestic and international travel possible and could include weekend travel depending on the project.
• Performs related work or job duties as required by supervisor.
• Assist with running tests.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Entry Level:

• Regular in person attendance required.
• Exposed to blueprint reading.
• Ability to follow basic electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Mechanical ability, operate power tools.
• Read tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
• Ability to learn and advance quickly.
• Good at problem solving.
• Self-motivated and can work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English by both written and verbal means and use basic math skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug and background test.
• Good attention to detail
• Welding and fabrication ability, including sheet metal

Minimum Qualifications for Application:

• High school diploma or GED with 1-year related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S or Six Sigma
• Microsoft Word
