Job Summary

In this position you will cooperatively work with a team to efficiently drive sales and delivery product to accounts. Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members. Your job will involve driving to the accounts and delivery product and restocking areas which have our product.  Employee must be a team player and share responsibilities with the team. Employee must communicate and work with other members of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and increase sales. Employees will cooperate with other employees, supervisors and management and perform other duties as requested by supervisor or manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Make daily delivery of product to accounts. Will be using dolly and electric pallet jack.
• Maintain good rotation of stock; fill shelves, face and front cold box and hot shelf if one is available.
• Services customers by ensuring timely deliveries, accurate check-in and storage of products as directed while maintaining good customer relations.
• Perform the DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Be knowledgeable about the products that are being sold in while maintaining good product rotation.
• Have direct communications with sales rep about out-of-stock products and close dated products.
• Ensures accurate delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly and compliant with safety requirements.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must be licensed and able to drive a motor vehicle.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Preferred, but not required.
• Must maintain insurability to drive a company vehicle.
• Be licensed by T.A.B.C. to sell alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposure to weather and temperature variations.
