Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness of the coffee station
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred
- Strong math skills for cash handling and making change accurately
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts and sales tax
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
