L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity is Hiring an Assistant Manager Near Lewiston, ID

Job Title: Habitat Store Assistant Store Manager

Job Role: The Habitat Store Assistant Manager is responsible for daily management of the retail operation, and to ensure the ReStore operates for the direct support of L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity goals and mission.

Job Duties: The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for:

SUPERVISION

  • Fills in for the Store Manger in his/her absence or vacation.
  • Supervises volunteers, including volunteer groups and court ordered community service volunteers.

FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE

  • With Store Manager, implements and monitor systems for daily cash transactions and daily deposits.
  • With Store Manager, coordinates the acquisition of materials to achieve operational and financial goals.

OPERATIONS AND SALES

  • Implement daily operating procedures.
  • Implement customer service procedures.
  • Operate basic computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Operate office equipment, including telephone, answering machine, cash register and calculator.

VOLUNTEERS AND STAFFING

  • Coordinate and conduct the training of volunteers.
  • Create volunteer schedules.
  • Supervise the placement of volunteers.
  • Understand and follow Habitat Store policies and procedures.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, Habitat homeowners and the public.

Reports to: Store Manager

Schedule: This position is a part-time 25-30 hours per week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Experience level:

  • 5 years

Shift:

  • Day shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
