Description
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cut, measure, and apply glue to attach insulation to coils of refrigeration racks per customer specifications. Make labels per customer specs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to read, understand, and apply customer specifications per shop orders. Must be able to safely and effectively use tools for the job, identify unit components, install installation, and make labels per instructions.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Insulate racks, standing and often working in position of reaching overhead, squatting, bending, crawling and reaching into small areas. Required to measure and cut insulation using scissors or knives and apply glue before wrapping and securing it to coils. Some lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. Must occasionally use platform ladders. Must be able to work overtime as required.
Requirements
TOOLS:
Insulation uses scissors, utility knives, tape measures, insulation cut-out tools, labeling machines, an insulation cut saw and small wrenches. Crimping tools, wire strippers, Phillips head and flat head screwdrivers. These are wiring tools.
OUTPUT REQUIREMENTS:
Consistently meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards in order to meet company/customer requirements.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Wear required PPE at all times, including steel-toe safety shoes, follow 6S procedures, participate in preventive injury exercises, and comply with all job related work instructions.
