Description
- Use electrical, pneumatic and/or hand tools to assemble standardized or special cases, both having close tolerances, strict inspection and operating requirements.
- Use a fixture device for proper positioning of case during assembly.
- Responsible for following strict specifications of work order for each assigned case.
Build refrigeration display cases per customer specifications within allotted time. - Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Maintain accurate records/documents as required.
- Maintain safe, clean work area at all times.
- Observe all safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Need basic mechanical aptitude/ability in order to operate electrical, pneumatic and/or hand tools to assemble cases.
- Must have 12 months relevant experience or comparable education/training (Technical training such as industrial maintenance, auto mechanics, and appliance repair).
- Must be able to read, write, accurately read a tape measure, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must have the ability to cross-train in other stations and other lines as required
