As the Global Project Manager for Cybersecurity at Kyocera AVX, you will be instrumental in leading and coordinating various cybersecurity initiatives on a global scale. Your role will encompass working closely with the Cybersecurity team and engaging with other departments, such as IT, to ensure efficient remediation efforts, security tool deployment, and effective cybersecurity measures across the organization. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our valuable assets and maintaining the integrity of our cutting-edge electronic solutions.

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Develop comprehensive project plans for cybersecurity initiatives, encompassing tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary considerations.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team and IT stakeholders to define project goals and align them with the overall business objectives of Kyocera AVX.
• Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Cybersecurity team to assess vulnerabilities and identify potential security risks across different departments and locations globally.
• Collaborate with IT teams to coordinate remediation efforts and the deployment of security tools, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
• Facilitate effective communication between cybersecurity, IT, and other relevant teams to achieve project objectives.
• Risk Management:
• Proactively identify cybersecurity risks and potential challenges associated with projects and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
• Implement security best practices and industry standards to safeguard Kyocera AVX's electronic components and sensitive information.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Cybersecurity team, IT professionals, department heads, and senior management.
• Communicate project updates, progress, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• 2-5 years of relevant project management experience, with a focus on cybersecurity and IT projects.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred, showcasing expertise in project management methodologies and best practices.
• Preferred experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Project, demonstrating proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management using these tools.
• Basic knowledge of IT concepts such as Active Directory, servers, networking, identity, and cloud, to effectively collaborate with IT teams during security tool deployment and remediation efforts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to drive projects to successful completion while fostering a collaborative work environment.
