Our state-of-the art fleet is equipped with electronic logging, satellite communication, and is serviced regularly by our own Truck Maintenance Shop.
Join our team as a Delivery Assistant to work for a nationally recognized top workplace that is growing, yet remains family owned, with a family-like culture. Kwik Trip’s Delivery Assistants, Trainees, and Drivers are home at the end of each shift and operate only the best equipment.
Our Delivery Assistant position is an entry level position and meant to give you the opportunity to see what driving with Kwik Trip is all about. Your role is assisting our drivers in delivering all perishable product to stores and learning about what it takes to be a Driver with Kwik Trip. This is NOT a DOT Required Position and NOT a CDL Trainee position, but an entry level position for those interested in pursuing the transportation industry.
Basic job responsibilities of the Delivery Assistant position include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting with unloading up to 30,000 pounds of product at the stores
• Placing products in the correct location (cooler, freezer, backroom)
• Being able to work with minimal supervision, in a safety conscious environment, and in a variety of weather/temperature conditions
CDL Delivery Assistant Requirements:
• At least 18 years old to be a Delivery Assistant
• Excellent driving record in accordance with Kwik trip’s driving matrix
Physical Requirements:
Sit up to 6 hours at a time; stand up to 2 hours at a time; bend/reach/twist/stoop/squat frequently; lift up to 75 pounds to waist level occasionally; lift up to 70 pounds to 60 inches occasionally; lift up to 40 pounds to 72 inches frequently; carry 90 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
Work Schedule:
Shifts Sun-Wed/Wed-Sat with a typical start time of 3pm
As a Delivery Assistant, you will primary work 10 – 12 hours
Conference Transportation is 365/24/7 Holidays and weekends are expected within one’s schedule.
Must live within 60 miles and 60 minutes of Plover.
