The Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Specialist serves to screen, train, assess, and reassess TFC resource providers in competency-based skills who will be able to provide safe, secure homes for children with elevated needs.
This role will enhance the well-being of children in the custody of the Department of Social Services, Children’s Division in need of stable TFC homes.
The TFC Specialist is the primary support for TFC families.
The TFC Specialist provides ongoing training, coaching, crisis management, and various resources.
The TFC Specialist meets with the family, in the foster family home, often to ensure needs are met and is part of the treatment planning team.
Education:
One (1) of the following:
Licensure/Certification:
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience working with children and families in the direct delivery of social services in a public or private agency, preferably in the fields of foster care or adoption.
