KVC Missouri is Hiring a Foster Care Case Manager Near Kansas, MO
The Foster Care Case Manager (FCCM) provides case management to children and their families who have been placed in out-of-home care by the court system.
The FCCM is responsible for the development and implementation of permanency plans for children who are in the custody of the Children’s Division.
Our foster care program serves children and teens, newborn to age 18, in the custody of the state who have been removed from their parents’ custody due to abuse or neglect.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related degree
Salary:
- $43,500 - $46,000 depending on education and experience
Schedule:
- This is a Remote-Hybrid position, with most of your work taking place in the field, and only 1-3 days in office for supervision and other work-related meetings.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old to apply
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
- Valid driver's license
- Valid auto insurance
Essential Duties:
- Provide, coordinate, and facilitate all services necessary to support the permanency goal for the children in care.
- Case managers provide for safety and needs assessments, resource acquisition transportation and visitation, court reports, and authorization of funds for services to family members.
