We are looking for highly motivated, outgoing individuals to join our Kurtz family, where you are more than just an employee, you are truly a member of the family.
We hire at our eight store locations : Avon, Akron, Hudson, Garfield Heights, North Canton, Strongsville, Valley View & Willowick.
Our typical time frame for hires is approximately 6 months, but can vary based on our season / availability. Seasonal employees are eligible for some benefits, 401k and employee discounts! (*waiting period applies).
- For each season an employee returns, they are eligible for :

- Up to $1,000 Return Bonus
We are seeking dynamic and responsible individuals who thrive in an outdoor setting and can operate front-end loaders at our store locations.
Our operators load various landscape supply products (mulch, soil, etc.) into customer vehicles. We prefer experience with any material handling equipment, but will train you!
Some positions may turn in to full-time, year-round positions. Come GROW with our company we offer careers with room to expand from CSRs to Managers, and beyond.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, and is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions and vibration.
- Exposure to loud noises, hot / cold temperatures, dust, and other environmental factors
