*Classroom assistant for Kumon Of Charlotte Prosperity Church Road *Do you like a fast-paced work environment? Do you like working with kids? Kumon, the world's largest after-school enrichment program, seeks energetic Part-time Math and Reading Assistants for the Charlotte Prosperity Church Road center's after-school Math and Reading program.

Responsibilities include:

*-Assisting students (pre-school through high school) with Math and Reading *-Grading Math & Reading worksheets *-Light administrative duties ** Knowledge of Kumon Method is preferred but not required ** Experience in a paid or non-paid job working with kids including teacher's aide, tutoring, coach, etc is preferred ** Proficiency in HS Math (Algebra I & II and/or Calc) and/or HS English/Writing is a plus

Skills Include:

*Strong interpersonal/verbal communication skills *Detail-oriented *Able to work independently and multi-task

Benefits:

*90 day review with opportunity for growth *Positive work environment where management values their employees *Hours per week vary on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. From 3 to 7:30pm Several positions open. *Hourly rate *NO WEEKENDS *Job Type: Part-time *Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications *Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $7.25 - $12.00/hour based on experience.
