The candidate shall provide technical support to the end users on the operation of the Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) System. The candidate shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the VoIP telephone system, including infrastructure (wiring). The candidate shall check the daily ticket log, and complete actions to resolve the ticket. The candidate shall provide daily support of the unclassified VoIP endpoint devices, ensuring that all devices are operational. The candidate shall ensure that all configurations meet the various security guidelines and are backed up. The candidate must be able to resolve issues related to the functionality of Cisco IP Telephony.
Additional responsibilities:
Must have at least (2) or more years of experience in an enterprise network level environment using Cisco Unified Call Manager applications.
Must have the 1 or more of the following IT certifications or the industry equivalent:
-BICSI Installer 1 (INST1) Certificate
-BICSI Installer 2, Copper (INSTC) Certification
-BICSI Installer 2, Optical Fiber (INSTF) Certification
-Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Enterprise
-Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking
Must have an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II such as a Security CE certification which will meet the 8570.01M CSWF Requirements.
