The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of accounts receivable functions within the organization. This includes invoicing, collections, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare and submit AIA billings to general contractors.
• Work with project managers to ensure accurate billing.
• Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to customers.
• Prepare and distribute lien waivers.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports for management review.
• Assist in month-end close processes related to accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with internal departments, to address customer inquiries and issues.
• Maintain documentation and records related to accounts receivable transactions.
• Other duties assigned

Required Skills:

• Proven experience working in accounts receivable or related financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with collections and dispute resolution preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong basic math skills
