Position Summary:

The Warranty Analyst will prepare, record, and reconcile warranty claims and manually enter Dealer Sponsored Fleet and over the counter parts replacement claims for review. This position will follow-up and check on tracking information. The Warranty Analyst will communicate with service advisors/managers, internal staff and customers as necessary.

Essential Functions:

• Process and submit claims from dealer service departments along with making corrections according to OE processes and procedures.
• Make claim corrections/appeals/etc. when the accounting department reaches out upon reconciling weekly credit memos.
• Ensure that all DSF and OTC parts claims are entered in the claim system for review.
• Communicates status of claim adjustments to the service department managers and ensure all core/scrap lists are prepped for submittal to the respective parts departments, along with follow-up on completing core list/credit processes at the end or beginning of every week.
• Check on claim material requests daily along with preparing shipping documents to be sent to respective parts departments with follow-up tracking information.
• Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and ensure that all parts are returned within 10 calendar days of them being requested by the vendor.
• Follow-up with the OE Warranty Analyst regarding unpaid or adjusted claims.
• Support for any new team member as needed.
• Discuss warranty coverage with customers, managers, and internal personnel.

Education and Work Experience:

• Either high school diploma or GED
• 2 years of dealership experience desired but not required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
