Kresloff Eye Associates is Hiring an Optical Lab Technician Near Collingswood, NJ

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optical Lab Technician to join our team. As an Optical Lab Technician, you will be responsible for edging, finishing and assembling glasses. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be capable of utilizing a variety of optical lab finishing equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing a manual lensometer
  • Mark & inspect lenses with manual lensometer.
  • Perform various laboratory procedures, including lens cutting, grinding, and polishing.
  • Edge lens appropriately so that lens can be inserted in frames.
  • Marking progressive lenses
  • Reading prism in lenses
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper fitting of optical devices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their optical nee
  • Mount, secure and align finished lens in all types of frames.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in optical technology and industry trends
  • Experience using: Manual Lensometer, handstone, lens edging equipment.
  • ****Good math skills required to calculate decentration, seg heights & optical centers.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
