We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our client's team in the Great Philadelphia area. The successful Tax Manager candidate will engage with clients, take ownership of tax planning and compliance, deliver service excellence, lead, grow the business, and develop in the realm of tax legislation. This role is within the public sector.Responsibilities:Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients while preparing personal and entity tax returnsProvide proactive service-focused tax planning and compliance to clientsPerform various aspects of tax compliance, projections, preparing responses to tax notices, assistance with special projectsEnsure that all clients’ tax returns are prepared accurately, completely, and timelyDemonstrate advanced technical skills in a variety of tax and accounting areas and proactively coach and mentor more junior associatesDevelop new client contacts and marketing relationships and look for opportunities to increase our service offerings to existing clientsRemain current on new legislation and consistently perform tax researchShare new information with colleagues and clients, and schedule periodic tax research training
